ACE to design MEP systems at Bozeman’s new safety center
BOZEMAN, MONT., November 10, 2018 – Associated Construction Engineering puts safety first, just like Bozeman voters did this month when they voted “yes” on a $36.9 million bond to build the city’s new public safety center.
As the MEP consultant on the project, ACE will use its expertise to design high-efficiency HVAC systems as well as to incorporate LED lighting and water-conserving plumbing, design efforts aimed at cost savings.
Expected to be completed by fall 2020, the new 64,000-square-foot facility will house the police, courts, victim services, and the fire crew currently at Fire Station No. 1.
“This was a win for our community, and ACE is thrilled to have been selected to be part of this project,” said Kip Weeda, a vice president at ACE and its branch manager for the firm’s Belgrade office.

ACE to be MEP consultant for MSU’s American Indian Hall
BOZEMAN, MONT., October 9, 2018 – Associated Construction Engineering is continuing to help MSU lead the LEED revolution in Montana. Our firm was selected to be the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering consultant on the newest building to define the MSU skyline: the American Indian Hall.
This project just finished schematic design and is on target to achieve LEED Platinum v4 certification through the U.S. Green Building Council.
“This is an exciting and interesting time to be working in Montana, especially with MSU as it seeks to lead the efforts in our state to design in highly-efficient ways,” said Kip Weeda, a vice president at ACE and its branch manager for the firm’s Belgrade office. “The university is seeking ways to be more inclusive through its design practices and services to its students and the community. We at ACE are honored to be part of this.”
