The Xanterra Employee Dormitory at Montana State University the Old Faithful area in Yellowstone Park is a 43,000 square foot, three story facility. The facility includes 68 dorm room/10) 2 bedroom apartments and laundry and storage spaces. This facility incorporates state-of-the-art HVAC systems (low temperature hydronic heating, natural ventilation in rooms), as well as, electrical, communication, and fire protection. The facility was modeled and has achieved LEED Platinum status. The project’s construction budget was approximately $13 million.
