Location: Deer Lodge, MT

Associated Construction Engineering provided the mechanical design for a new critical access hospital located in Deer Lodge, MT. The heating plant consisted of high efficiency condensing boilers. Heating hot water is distributed to the space via base mounted pumps coupled with variable frequency drives. Ventilation and cooling is provided by custom packaged heating and cooling units. These units are provided with hot water coils and direct expansion cooling coils. Condensers are packaged with each unit and provide individual unit control as well as staged cooling. Variable volume units provide zoning control for individual spaces throughout the facility.
