Community Medical Center – Oncology

This $5.6-million project included a new 20,000-square-foot medical oncology building on the campus of Community Medical Center. Mechanical and electrical systems were designed for the 11,000-square-foot addition of a radiation oncology portion to the building. The pharmacy area was designed to meet USP 797 in regards to the ante, clean, and chemo rooms. These rooms are provided with airflow control valves and air pressure monitoring systems to maintain proper pressure relationships twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Radiant wall panels provide additional heating to the infusion spaces, allowing for greater comfort during extended stays.
