Location: Laurel, MT

New three (3) story, 38-unit assisted living facility. Project included the resident rooms, a central kitchen, indoor therapy pool and exercise room, laundry areas, dining area, chapel, and spa room. The mechanical system utilized a four (4) pipe heating and cooling forced air system for the resident rooms, and a central station, variable air volume air handling system for the main level common and administrative spaces. Domestic hot water was produced with a natural gas fired central hot water system with a recirculation system. The main electrical service sized at 1600 Amps at 208 volt, 3-phase. Each floor had multiple electrical distribution panelboards through-out to accommodate all the units. An Emergency stand-by generator was installed to back-up the emergency lighting through-out the building along with the central heating system. Lighting systems were residential style high-efficiency fluorescent light fixtures with common corridors having time clock control lighting to reduce the amount of lighting at night for energy savings. Each unit was wired for Cable TV, Ethernet, and phone. The complex also had a commercial kitchen, chapel and common living and dining rooms.
